Virgin or MBNA?

Some years ago I took out a loan through Virgin. It is long paid off (5 1/2 years ago) but I have a nagging feeling that I was "sold" PPI to go with it. All of the paper work related to MBNA (which came as a surprise at the time) and payments went to MBNA at Chester.
I have no paperwork at all now and will need to get a SAR. Who should I contact for this?
Many thanks in anticipation,
Dribblechops.

Hi there
I believe you contact the ones who set up and sold you the account from the start, if you have the account number, there is no need for the paperwork really and it may save you a tenner, but its up to you of course, many on here have still been successful without the need of the paperwork.

The above is the reclaim questionnaire, complete and send to their head office or complaints dept, keep a copy for yourself as well.
And if you want to request a SAR, there is a full letter template here below, good luck.
