Yes Home Bargains have got some of the traditional style sweets in at really good prices - Sherbet fountains, dib dabs etc.
Think I'll make one for hubby too - as the sweets are opened and put into the spaces so one packets of sweets should do 2 gifts!!0 -

This is what I'm thinking too, I should be able to get 2 gifts from it. It'll also save me from having to eat the excess:p0 -

I know it's probably a given, but please don't make them up till nearer Christmas as occasionally some of them (more the hard boiled ones I find) tend to go a bit funny after a while

Great idea, my OH has a major sweet tooth and would love one of these. One of my favourite birthday gifts this year was a lovely glass container which he had filled with those little foiled chocolate cups. He had put a ribbon around it and it sits in the fridge ready when i need a little nibble, as its refillable its the perfect gift and i can't believe he thought of it:DSuccess means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. I'd also add packets of aniseed balls and candy pop...can't remember it#s official name, but you pop it in your mouth and it fizzes & crackles. I did one a few years ago alongside a BatFink and Muppets themed hamper
