Current Employment Situation

Hi guys.

Im not sure if you can help me but here goes....

I went for an interview for a position I applied for which I knew was above my qualifications and they said in the interview basically you dont have experience for this role but we are recruiting for the role one down from this and you would be perfect for this. At the end of the interview they basically gave me a job there and then.

All I have recieved to this point is an email saying
Hi,

I am please to say that Company Name would like to offer you the position if Job Role fulltime starting Wednesday 20th July. The salary will be £xx per annum plus OT commission which will be review during your three month probationary period.

This off is valid for 48hrs, please confirm back via email your acceptance or declination of this offer.

Kind Regards

I told them during the interview I had holiday booked which they said was ok.

I then was told that I wouldn't receive Holiday pay as I hadn't accrued enough Holiday so had to accept that but as I wasn't told I would get paid should I be paid for this?. I came back from holiday and as it is a sales-based environment it is high pressured. I was then called into the office by one of the directors and basically told your not doing well enough you have two choices. Either we can pay you minimum wage or you can do pay per appointment (which basically means go self employed and if you hit your target of 80% we will reinstate your current salary)

I then got told by my director that he made a mistake with the wages and they will hit our accounts a day late this month due to the bank holiday (Should be paid by the 1st) AND that he has only paid me two weeks money and that I would have to wait till the 15th for the third week on the next pay run...

A) Can they simply reinstate my wages after I go self employed?
B) If due to wages I go over overdraft and receive charges how do I claim this back if I can?

You talk to them, but it sounds if you will still be on probation so they could just sling you out the door.

If you are on here moaning about the job are you sure it is the job for you?

Yes you probably do have but it a lot of hassle. I suspect that this board is not the right board for your question though.

Try the employment board they will be more switched on to what you can do.
