I'm not required to do self-assessment. Basically I gave up work 2 years ago after having my second child and have been doing exam marking (on temporary contracts) to get some extra money. As this is seasonal work I do not earn enough to pay tax, but I get taxed from each of the examination boards so have to claim it back afterwards.
The tax office told me they only accepted original documents.
Each exam board I work for has a different tax office and for some reason none of my tax records link up. When I speak to one tax office they have no records that I've done any work for anyone else - it amazes me.Make £10 a day in January 2014 - £39.68 / £3100
