A new life starting - at long last - help needed

I have a more complex situation that involves more than one sub forum on here. Rather than repeat the thread here, I have put a link to my main thred in the loans area.

I have posted here as I feel the people who read the credit card forum might be able to help me as well.

Please accept my apologies if this is the wrong thing to do, and please advise.

As a new user I am not allowed to post the link, but it is in the loans sub forum with the same title.
