parking in Huyton Knowsley

I am going to Huyton, Municipal building and would like to know where I can park for a few hours for free. I have never been to Huyton before so have no idea where to park. Any advice will be appreciated.

Look it up on Google maps then do a virtual walk along the street around the building you are visiting. You can see the signs to see what the parking restrictions were at the time of the Google streetview camera looking there, which may still be the same.

Plenty of parking at the Municipal buildings and around it, if you cant get in there, there is an Asda just up the road costs a £1 if you spend £5 there you get it back!

Thank you for your reply. it's an interesting about asda car park. Do they give you some limited hours if I want to park there and prepare to pay £1 and spend £5? Will they give me £1 back if i spend £5?

Read the forum stickies about private parking, yes you can park in Supermarket car park if you are a customer (and even if you aren't but we don't condone it at all, OK as long as you do a bit of shopping there IMHO).

Yes they will refund the parking charge if you spend a fiver.

No it doesn't matter if you overstay so no worries about how long their scumbag parasite (private parking company) might 'allow'.

Because any piece of rubbish plonked on your windscreen in a Supermarket car park is either a fast-food flyer or a fake PCN - both of which can be binned/ignored. If you were unaware of this then read a few threads at the top of this very sub-forum.

Will asda refund me £1 when I spend a fiver or it's just a machine where you insert your receipt from asda? I think they normally give you some limited hours even if you have to spend a 5 pounds.

You normally hand one end of your car park ticket to the cashier and they take it and give you back your quid.

Stop thinking about 'limited hours'! If you intend to buy something then park there as long as you like, you are a customer! Supermarket car park parasites (PPCs) may have a made-up time limit but they only issue fake PCNs which can be ignored.
