Hi guys, someone sent me a spreadsheet which has links to a certain product on a few company's website and it refreshes every 5 minites or has manual refreshh button there to show when it comes back in stock/goes on sale.
And then a pop up appears to say any website that do have it in stock.
How to i go about doing that myself? I know it used macros. I was wondering if anyone new of a tutorial etc for this?
Thanks in adv!

There's an excel add-in which will do this

Also it can be done with Google Docs which maybe easier for you:-

I had a look at those and found them quite difficult to follow unless I had a share portfolio!
I used a firefox browser and an addin called AlertBox
Found it quite easy to set up and use. In order for it to work you need to keep firefox open.
You select anything (eg prices or stock levels) on your chosen webpages and how regularly you want alertbox to automatically check for changes. Can check every 2 minutes if you like. Or you can check sites manually as often as you want. When your monitored prices/stock levels change - an alarm goes off on your desktop. You can also set it up to send you an email.
Still did not get me an HP touchpadbut can see uses for it! Hope this helps.
