How to find out what shares are worth? HELP!

Options
Hello :)
Never had any dealings with shares but have just inherrited 116 Lloyds Banking Group plc Ordinary shares of 10p each. These have just been transferred into my name.
Thick question time!
Does this mean that they are actually worth 10p each ie £11.16 in total value so not worth selling and having to pay a fee?
Not sure how to look up share values so would appreciate help?

trading at 32.27p at the moment so worth just over 37 quid.

So hang on to them (as it will cost you most of that to sell them) or give them to a cahrity via Sharegift, or deposit them into a broker account,

Brilliant! The idea of Sharegift sounds ideal. Thanks for your quick reply and your help.

My first share purchase was 200 Lloyds shares for £1200. (588p each plus fees).

    Oh how times have changed...

I sold some inherited shares at about that price for my first ever investment transaction...

Sorry if you ended up with mine!

    Possibly did Aegis :rotfl:

Atush suggested the possibility of giving the shares to charity and this seems the best option.

Have asked for a Share Transfer Form and will get that underway ASAP.

Once again this forum has been of immense help. :A
