Appeal the ticket and state the time that you spent in the car park. Did you notice any signs in the carpark about pay and display? If the appeal is refused then you take the appeal further - it is up to the parking people to prove you were there for the period of time they are stating.
If you were at a clients after 11.38 until the time you returned to the carpark then you can provide proof in the form of a statement or even your job sheet.0 -
Or just ignore it and use the money saved on postage to buy a coffee.
Surely if it did come to it though, you'd have invoiced the client for the job?0
