I have the Asus O Play R1 and the WD TV media players. Both are good but I prefer the Asus as it has a full size remote control plus shuffle function for music files. I do find that not all video files will play (on either player) so you will get the occasional misfire. I plug the media player into the tv and my hard drives / usb drives into the media player. I don't link the media player to my pc / internet. For the money (say £80) they're nice gadgets.0
