Vanquis not updating credit file

Hello all,
Hopefully someone might give some advice. I have a Vanquis card which did have around 90% of the credit used. It has now been reduced to around £100. What is really fustrating me is that Vanquis have not reported my account status for nearly two months now. I need to apply for a personal loan shortly but I know that with my credit file still reporting a high balance this will mark against me.
I have written to Vanquis but heard nothing back.
Any suggestions or experience??
