I occasionally park at railway stations operated by the above comnpany. I usually pay by the phone, its easier as i'm always running late!
I pay the fee because i'm so happy to actually find a parking space.....
Only sometimes, I get on the train and forget to pay or i get on the train and forget to pay until I get a rush of blood late in the day.
I've had a few parking tickets, (but now its gone upto £50), but i have ignored them after reading this thread, (paid a couple early on). Nothing bad has happened. If they made it reasonable...perhaps more people would pay?
The reason I write today is I got one on Bank Holiday Monday - even after I paid by phone. All of £1.50! I was at Cambridge, there is no way to actually pay in the area I parked other than the phone...but there is also no sign to say you must pay. How they can expect people to pay or pay a "fine" is beyond me.
Come on National Express....you can do better for your customers.....

Whoever issued the notice should take in to account the ticket issuing facilities, and I'm sure JUST having RingGo available isn't giving customers much chance if they haven't got a card or even a phone! Can't think why you'd get a ticket if you'd paid. Call National Express Customer Services, making sure you bypass the PPC.
