metal detector for garden, hubby lost bracelet

hi all

hubby lost his bracelet in garden yesterday whilst laying top soil and general digging.

i believe the bracelet is made of titanium ,

does anybody know if a metal detector would pick this up and if its possible to hire one. or will we have to buy one

my son is a metal detectorist - and I know that the more sophisticated detectors will pick up certain metals. saying that, I wouldnt advise you to buy or hire a metal detector - really expensive!!! just look online for your LOCAL metal detectorist club and contact them and ask if anyone would come and search your garden and offer a small reward! most club members (like my son) love a challenge like this!
I say local clubs - they mostly go by COUNTY - so if you are in say Oxfordshire - look for Oxford Metal Detector(ist) club.

My mum would have you pray to St Anthony- the patron saint of lost things. Even though she's wavering in her beliefs nowadays she'll still do it after "his successes" in her earlier life...
