lg world site issues

I bought an lg phone(cookie style t310) on friday. Its the first touch screen phone ive had so ive been playing about with it. I found out i can have things called apps. So i can get a few new games ect.

I cant used lg world on my phone as theyve put" thank you for using the lg world mobile phone services...as informed all mobile phone services of lg world have been terminated at the end of july 2011. Support for the andriod models is only available now. Please go to the lg world website to download the content. We promise to provided you a better service."

So i go online(on laptop) to use their own app ,which i belive i have to have in order to download other apps. I keep trying to register but when i click the register button it goes "in" then nothing. Ive deleted cookies, temp internet files. And nothing.

Called customer support and now help. Any ideas? Anyone having trouble registering with them?
