Warranty on Headphones?

Hey, I have a small issue, I bought some headphones 5months ago and recently they have just broken. I went to get a new pair with my 2 year warranty but was refused any kind of replacement or payment because they no longer sell the model of headphones I bought, do I have a right to complain or say they're wrong? Any advice, thanks.

warranty comes from the manufacturer, but the retailer is duty bound to resolve your problem under the sale of goods act, assuming they weren't misused.
you could contact the manufacturer, or if your prefer, the retailer, and if they won't play ball, trading standards.!!

SOGA states that under 6 months old it is automatically assumed they were faulty at manufacture and you are entitled to a repair or replacement. Where a replacement or repair is not possible, you are entitled to a refund or alternate of the same value.0
