i am soooo :mad: despite me being granted a PPI refund, the FSCS make any payments due go towards existing loans......this i eventually accepted as it reduces the life of the loan, however the payments remain the same!

i called and spoke to a member of staff about this, i said doesn't that mean i am still paying PPI, since the payments remain the same. i argue that they should reduce it:mad::mad::mad::mad:

the answer the staff member gave was , that is what the FSCS says....and i can make a complaint if i disagree....don't worry Welcome i will.


anyone know any different?

Sorry to hear about these issues, especially as you've already been deprived of your money once, but I understand what your saying here, and I would contact the FSCS and ask what is going on because its made absolutely no difference to the payments at all and your still paying the same, then tell them that Welcome Finance had said to come back to the FSCS about this.

heres a quick update..............

I contacted the FSCS who said that Welcome are responsiblefor cancelling any current PPI (which will reduce monthly payments)......
I contacted Welcome who said you have to go to your Local branch!......
I then contacted my local branch who said "no not us we cant do that"!!!.....
I recontacted the Welcome PPI guys who said we'll call you branch for you, while still holding she had sorted everything out ...they have 8 weeks to cancel the PPI....EIGHT WEEKS!


at leaset it will be cancelled (though i will keep checking) so i can finally look forward to my loan being repaid early at a leeser monthly cost..HURRAY
