A quick question related to Save the Date cards... when have people sent them or when are you going to send them? And considering the above comments that there is no one or set way, I'm anticipating a wide range of views here

im sending mine this weekend getting married on 8th june 2012.well thats if i dont look at them and panic again xxx

im not sending any out i am just sending the invites 12 months in advance

but 1/5 of my guests are from another country

i will then send little reminder cards about 3 months ahead of the date just to give people a nudge

We sent ours out in Feb this year just to let people know we had booked the wedding and this is the confirmed date x

We sent out ours in April. Again we weren't going to bother, but SiL2B booked Michael Macintyre tickets for the week after our wedding! So sent them out quick! (it was only a fancy email sent to the people who we felt needed to be there.)
