can someone advise if dvd's are available to record more than 2hrs video, thats the largest i can find

Are you recording on a standalone DVD recorder or a DVD device connected to a PC.
On my Sony standalone DVD recorder I can set the quality of the recording on the machine itself to up to 8 hrs per disk no matter what the write speed of the disks are labelled as0 -
Dual layer might help, but you'll need a dual layer recorder and disks."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0
