bt diverse 3016..not working

hi problem both base station and handset dont ring purchased from car boot, new batteries, calls out ringers all turned on reset then installed as per manual. if i ring the phone nothing but if i pick it up press button it works just not ringing..

Have you had another phone plugged into the same socket and was that ringing? If you have another phone, it might be worth trying swapping over the line cord (the cord that goes from the base to the socket).What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

hi thaks other phone works replugged after trying the bt one.. but i can ring the bt one but the base station and the handset dont ring0

It could simply be the line cord, if you try swapping it over it would at least eliminate that possibility. Out of curiosity, do you have any other phones plugged into other sockets around the house?What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
