On offer just now at 99p. My personal favourite for my own munching are the small marzipan eggs . Around 10 for 79p. Also like the small wrapped chooclate bars with a white chocolate bunny in the middle. These come in a bag of around 15 I think and are 99p. If you have one near enough Sarah you might manage something with a specifically easter theme for the same price as the market choccies.
Thanks for this, I've only been in Lidl once before, didnt think too much of it and walked out again. In the interests of moneysaving I went down there this morning, couldnt believe some of the prices 7.5kg potatoes for £1.24, mozarella 49p a pack (I paid just over a pound in Tesco yesterday). Also peppermint tea, 25 in a box for 49p, I bought some to try. I also got seeds for swiss chard, chives and basil.
I bought the large bunny with mini eggs in a bag for my son, daughter and nephew and also some ladybirds, beetles and chicks wrapped for the treasure hunt. I was well pleased!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

We all get 5 small eggs each plus one decorated wooden egg each that my friend sent us from Russia.
The boxes when empty(& boy do they get emptied quick!) get put away again for next easter along with the wooden egg.
That's one of the nicest Easter ideas I've ever heard!
MIL has a treasured collection of hand painted empty egg shells from Czechoslavakia that are beautiful, I might try to copy their patterns onto some blown eggs,as a similar idea to your wooden eggs. (Another project for my spare-time that i have so much of!lol)"Then, when every last cent
