I have had a letter from 1st plus saying that i have reached the end of my period for paying PPI payments and that they will refund me the money if i meet the criteria, which it looks as if i do as i haven't claimed on it and am still paying the loan(although i haven't been given a settlement figure yet).
Would i be better claiming the money back this way or trying to claim it as mis sold PPI.

Hi there
I am not 100% and maybe someone can clarify on this, but if you were mis sold you still have the right to make a reclaim on the PPI, and of course get back your percentage to what your entitled to as well, because the thing you will have is, that if the loan is still active you will still be paying for the ppi although you will not be protected for it.
The decision is yours but hopefully someone will confirm if your able to do both, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
