I've read a fair bit about the Inter-Credit international request for £80 from people on behalf of DVLA.
I've received 1 x letter from Inter Cred and one from Civil Investigations to my address, but to someone quite obviously not me. The name is wrong, and my googling reveals the guy's facebook account and where he used to live on 192.com.
Since it's not me, I wonder whether I should ring them, revealing nothing about myself and let them know their error, or just ignore the letters ?

Like a priceless jewel buried in dark layers of soil and stone, earth radiates her brilliant beauty into the caverns of space and time.

Hi,
I have just received one of these too. I actually contacted the dvla as I had forgotten to pay 1 months tax. They informed me that I could send back payment and there was no fine on my account so it will be fine.
I did this and sent payment but now 2 years later I am getting an £80 fine? What shall I do as I am really worried?
Thanks in advance,
Best wishes,

Typical of the DVLA, saying they would take no action about not having a licence, and then claiming the Late Licensing Penalty because you were late renewing it.0
