Morning all!
I managed to spend 85p yesterday. Until my fuel ran out, and then I had to go hunting for sewing needles...which are really difficult to find on a bank holiday evening.
Anyway, today I will:
Eat my packed lunch like a good boy and not be tempted
Going out tonight for a few drinks- so only taking £10
sort out my budget for the month
go for a run- saves driving to the gym!
And a lovely day for it! Nothing like grey skys and cold breazes to make you want to stay in and not spendWise man once say "When in hole, don't dig"0 -
Good afternoon everyone! Went camping over the weekend (brrrr!) Did a good bit of meal planning before we went so no expensice meals out or takeaways! Had to spend a tenner at the funfair though, but at least it was saved from the food shop!
Today I will:
Have a low spend day - only need to spend about a fiver on food shop so far this week as we seem to have a lot in the freezer / cupboard to eat up.
Collect a free bed ready for toddler to move into next year
Start sorting out baby clothes 'n' stuff to put into NCT sale in Oct
Arranged to swap baby gates with a friend as we need a travel stairgate and have to many screw-in stairgates
Arranged with another friend for her to cut whole families hair next month if OH services her car when we see her next
Take books back to library
Start unpacking / washing/ sorting clothes from the weekend!
Phew! I thought I didn't have much to do today! Somewhere in the middle of all that I will be at work!0 -

Haven't been on DFW in aaaages, but have a day off so thought I'd come and have a mooch!
My DFW things today:
I've emailed Sky to get rid of the HD subscription as it's totally unneccesary and a waste of money.
Called round for car service quotes and booked the cheapest one as my car's due and prob needs some maintenance.
Done my internet banking and savings/budgets
Me and the eldest DD are having a day at home instead of going out spending money (I had 2 days off work for the bank holiday!)
Checked my quidco account
Have sorted out my cupboards and am making the food I've got (starting to run out!) last til my food shop day on friday! Should be interesting!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi everyone - struck me today how autumnal it is out there. brrrr
Little steps for me today are:
- completed my first lot of surveys after signing up last week
- counted my ebay profits and recorded them on my budget sheet
- committed to 10 NSDs for Sep
- made my teenage son use the airer for his washing, not TD
- 3 nights worth of dinners for 4 of us cooked and ready to freeze/eat later this week
- NSD
- go blackberrying tonight (made a fab recipre last week that everyone wants me to do again)
- package up ebay sales and chace payments I've not had through yet
- hide my stash of pennies so they don't get 'borrowed' when others in the house need odd bits of change
- tonight, write a xmas list and identify a homemade gift I can make at low cost for some on it
