Found an extra store open 24 hours so OH went off on a little jaunt, he has them in his basket but is now just buying some other items to make up the defecit, just has to get them through the self service till now to see if it works. I will report back!0

Yes, he was armed with all the barcodes! I think it may only work if you buy either 6 or 12 but he was too chicken to go in and try again as all the till were closed and it was only self service that was open. He made the excuse his card was not working so I said to get cash and tell them you did not want as many as you were paying cash but he has come away empty handed! Men.......always better doing a job yourself!0 -

this is what I'm worried about if I go at a 'quiet' time,also more chance of them looking over my 'shoulder' or on their screen and see the glitch and stop the sale!0 -

I think he tried to buy too many at once and therefor did not work! If you stick to either 6 or 12 it seems to be going through ok. They are not there to watch what you are buying merely to make sure the tills are working ok!0
