Don't send the tills NUTTTY!!!
Purchased 6 x 8 AAs and 6 x 8AAAs so needed to spend 7.00 to make up the difference.
Brought 12 pack bog roll 3.99
and 2 x 4 pack bog roll £1.95 each or 2 for £3.20
should have been £3.99 plus £3.20 = £7.19 so 19p to pay.
The bloody Tesco glitch machine is in action agaain!!!... instead of taking off 70p for the bog roll multisave it took off 90p!!! ARRGGG
Dont see this until all is totalled and you hit the pay button -0.1p
Till goes crazy, rush and pick up nearest thing to me to scan, but it was having none of it. bleep bleeep bleep.
Luckily had a thick SA who just kept thumping it whilst i picked up bags, scanned the lot again through the next till adding on my extra item this time (1.99 for kitchen foil - bloody rip off). Paid my 1.98 and scooted out whilst SA was still thumping 1st till!
Maybe next time I won't make the amount to pay too close and allow for yet another Tesco glitch.
Happy shopping. :beer:0 -
sign in basildon mayflower said B1G2F but went through till at B1G1F,
Got sorted to original offer by customers services.
BTW there was a sign saying they are not doing DTD at mo due to technical issues with offers on till0 -

At last! A glitch that actually works down here! Just bought the packs of AA batteries (Tesco extra long life, 8 in the pack) blue packs £3.50 each and it takes the two discounts off!
I tried it out first by buying 6 packs as there were absolutely NO SIGNS OR LABELS to say that these batteries were on special offer - couldn't believe my eyes when it actually worked - the till charged £21.00 for the batteries and then took £24.50 off!! Bought some other shopping to disguise it and ended up paying 68p for my shopping!!
Went back in and got 12 more packs with some more shopping and managed to get £49 off.
There were still loads left on the racks and I only tried it out on the AA batteries so I don't know if the AAA will work or not - I might have to go back later and try them out!0 -

I think they can. The contract between you and them isn't completed until you have paid. Lots of people have had 1p items taken off them at the tills being told they're not allowed to buy them.0 -
Just been in again to Ch3shunt Extra, some still left.
Managed to c0ck up on extra goods - balance came to £0.00!!! SS till behaved as if I'd spent money, asked me for my clubcard lol, I was a bit confused as I expected it to be £1 with my other shopping but whoops. Didn't go mad beeping or anything - it was only when I got back to the car and looked at the receipt it said TILL VOID TRANSACTION.
There was someone else jumping to put their shopping through plus I had two under 5 with me so I was a bit confused/distracted. Feel a bit like a shoplifter now lol. :-s:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

Also with Tesco prices on the shelves are only an invitation to treat, unfortunately. No contract is formed until they take your money.
That's why self service is the best0 -

I'm so happy, I got my first tesco glitch
Diss Tesco in Norfolk, No SEL for the AA, B1G2F for the AAA, worked for my first 6 packs, then went through SS and got another 6.
Also got the B1G1F on the fairy.
Thanks OP0
