Working in Long Eaton at about 2.30pm today. Think it actually gives you £3.50 credit ...

Total bill £30.28, total to pay after discounts £2.49 and I did buy other stuff like fruit, salad and 2 lots muller corners - which may be on BOGOF too but should still have cost £3.29

I won't shame myself with my maths publically, but seems to me I got a bit of free shopping...Bonus.

This is my first glitch since the Charles Worthington 3 for £2.00 shampoos a couple of years ago so am most chuffed.

    Ps I left some ...
    Yep you're correct :)

Corners are on BOGOF. It gives you £3.50 off your other shopping for every multiple of 6 you "buy" (I use the term loosely! :rotfl:). So £3.50 for 6, £7 for 12, £10.50 for 18. Don't think anyone has gone higher in one transaction! You need to add that much extra to your shopping (after discounts) or the till will crash :rotfl:

Glad you got a bargain! I've sent this to people back home, I bet one of the 50 odd Tescos in my home town works but the ones at uni won't... typical!
  • Been to 3 tescos and got the batteries - £3-50 back for taking them - thanks for the tip.

Thanks Gemini Jes.....so what am I best looking out for? Will I pay £3.50 for 6x2 battery packs or do I need to buy more or look for another deal? TG store is the only one I can get to.

You can get 3 packets and they work out free or if you get 6 packs then they will give you £3.50 towards other shopping. The AA packs are packs of 8 batteries. The AAA were in packs of 4 over in Talbot Green, don't know if they do larger pack sizes. Hope this helps.
    Born to glitch :D

Ooops, have to apologise, Talbot Green this morning had no AA batteries so not tried it there. Got confused earlier when I said it not worked there, tried Culverhouse Cross and not worked there, was getting my stores mixed up. So sorry! :o

Thanks Gemini Jes, I am so bad at this lol! Just realised too that its probably not a bad idea to also get some AAA batteries as well. I just thought that only one deal worked on the AA ones. If I got 6 packs and the £3.50 towards shopping would they give me that in money or do I also need to put £3.50 worth of shopping in my basket? Sorry for so many questions but I want to be prepared lol!

You will need to have £3.50 worth of shopping. If buying just a few bits for the £3.50 I would go through self scan, if buying with other weekly shopping I would prob go through a manned check out as cashier is unlikely to notice if theres a fair bit of shopping.
  • Not working at cumbernauld tesco but still a great deal so will be keeping them anyway :j
