Central Trust - has any one had any dealing with them?

Hi,
Just wondering if any one had ever tried to reclaim PPI provided by Central Trust. Our loan is with White Label , provided through CT.
I complained early May & they down right refused to accept liability to mis selling:mad::mad::mad:. The PPI was front loaded & i didnt even know it would only cover us for 5 years but we will be paying the PPi plus interest over the life of the loan (300 mnths):mad::mad:
I sent it to the FOS & am just waiting now :(:(
Any info would be great :D:D xx

Did you approach Central Trust yourself for the loan and insurance or go through an intermediary?

Okay - Debtbuster IS Central Loans Limited according to its website and was an Appointed Representative of Central Trust, which is therefore responsible.

I think it is going to find justifying a single premium policy and adding the premium to the loan very difficult.

It will take some time to get round to it, though.

So do you think that they will be found in the wrong & we will get it upheld?
When i complained they said they had the conversation on Cd & can be heard telling them that i had private insurance and brilliant benefits through work, but what would they recommend, and the girl had said if it was her she would take the insurance to ensure that my payments were covered- and would be advisable to do so, so i said to her that i trusted her & would take her recommendations - i said to them, when complaining that that was not an inclusive decision as i was vulnerable & on asking advice, i was advised wrongly, also the price & terms were not disclosed:(:( Thanks for your advicexx
