I work as a laminate floor fitter, and without looking at the job, I'll be charging about £140 just for fitting the laminate and beading. The first quote seems very reasonable for supply and fit. Are both shops supplying the same laminate? Looking at the quotes, i guessing that the first quote is suplying a cheaper brand than the second.0

the 2nd quote was for quickstep. cant remember name of first one but it wasnt quickstep0

Quickstep is one of the best brands around for laminate flooring. It's what i fit on a regular basis. Other well known brands are Pergo and Balterio.
Is the thickness of the laminate on the cheaper quote the same as Quickstep?0
