Don't feed the troll. Alot of his posts are along similar lines.

It doesn't even make any sense. It is quite clear op isn't claiming it to be his findings, just summarising.

20 jobs available and 2 applicants.........sounds like the Daily Mail were advertising.

But seriously, as others have touched upon....company sounds 'dodgy', minimum wage jobs are 'dodgy', commission jobs are 'dodgy'. I'd be hard-pressed to go for this job too. Give up my week, miss Bargain Hunt for very little reward? No thanks.

as a Coventrian (and proud of it) I can say that my dh who has been unemployed for 3 months didn't apply either - he has no background in sales of ANY kind, could never work to sales targets and couldn't afford to take a job on minimum wage.

And before anyone starts shouting about him being better off on minimum wage than JSA - we get NO jsa - it is cancelled out by his small occupational pension from another job and we also pay for Mortgasge Protection insurance which pays our morgage for 12 months others have stated - it's hardly the job of anyones dreams!

The guy from the security firm says it's not like selling DG and they could earn £400.
Well i've sold DG and we were told we could warn a minimum of £400 and this sounds exactly the same.
I was commission only, i wonder how much of the expected earnings in this security firm are commission.
Cold calling is the most disheartening thing you can do.
