Do people water it down as they are using it or mix it into a different bottle or what?
I was just reading about calcium intake on the NHS website and in order to get enough you need to have about 1 pint of milk a day! That's a lot! :O0 -
what a fabulous idea!!! HUBBY IS ROLLING HIS EYES, BUT I'M GOING TO TRY IT TOMORROW. We go through more than 2 pints a day (both work from home) and have a lactose intollerant child who this wont affect, and another kid that eats a lot of cheese and yogurt but no milk; so it'll be great. Thanks!0

Probably a daft question but does the milk not go off quicker with the bacteria from tap water? Not saying tap water is dirty but it will have some bacteria in it.0

This all seems like a lot of messing about to save a few pennies and yes, as some have already suggested, its not just the fat that gets diluted but obviously all the other nutrients as well. Go for the supermarket deals, Morrisons and tesco both do 3 x 4 pinters for £3 or Netto do 2 x 2ltr for £1.80 and the milk is processed so efficiently these days it has a very long shelf life well past the stated dates. I live alone and can comfortably get through 3 x 4 pinters before it starts to sour.0

Just drink less milk if you can't afford what you currently buy.
Why make it less nutritious for yourself?0
