How do I edit and Adobe file?

A family member moved to Australia some years ago to live/work there for good.
They still have a house in the UK which they rent out. But to cut costs on letting agents etc I'm the acting landlord and sort any problems out.
The tennants in the house want to renew their contract at the end of August and I'm trying to figure out how I can edit the contract from last year so that the dates can be changed.
I have the contract saved on my laptop as an Adobe pdf...
Any ideas how I can edit a file?

Get yourself a copy of Acrobat.
There are free PDF editors on all the main downoad sites but every one I've tried has been inadequate in some way - Formatting and compatibility mainly.
Eventually I gave-up and got the real thing - Not looked back since.
You can also prepare/edit a file in any common word processor and get a free PDF by return from Adobe direct - It takes a few hours but IME it has been reasonable for small/single page files.
https://www.acrobat.com/welcome/en/home.html - Have a look at the PDF to Word option. That should be well supported.
Some will also open PDF files with reasonable accuracy, let you edit them and resave in native format.0 -
For one document, or rare converting
http://www.pdfonline.com/pdf-to-word-converter/
If you are likely to need to convert more frequently
http://www.anypdftools.com/pdf-to-word.html
If you need to convert it back to Word after editing, there are a number of programmes for it, this is one, you just click to print the document and choose Do Pdf as the printer
