I am planning to buy the Kindle 3, and have few questions.
Can the Kindle 3 displays normal PDF documents, with the right format as I have I have normal PDF docs, which I like to read on Kindle 3?
Can the Kindle 3 display other languages, not using ABC, etc?
I heard Kindle 4 will be out at the end of this year, should I wait for that?
Thanks

Yes to the first question, but not sure on the second.
I have one of these and it's brilliant...:DHappiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0 -
rumours are that amazon are close to announcing an ipad-esque competitor sometime soon.0

There are rumours that Amazon will announce something in September or October but thoughts are on a tablet which indicates something LCD based. I hope they update the e-ink bases Kindles at the same time, I fancy one of the larger DX type Kindles but without the 3G0

Think they are going the traditional Android based colour LCD Tablet rather than an "E-Ink" display.
Sounds like they are aiming for the sub $300 mark.
Can't wait... ^_^
oh! and i think the Kindle can display other languages (their is a Arabic rom for the kindle3 out there and it supports right to left text.)
although if a PDF can store it, a kindle should display it... ^_^Laters
