    are these good?

i really dont have any idea..just thought that it must be ok for £10,however any other suggestions will be better from those who have used it
  • I got Remington straighteners from Avon about 2 years ago & these look the exact same. I can get the details if anyone wants them. I've been using them quite happily for my fringe. However, i used a friend's more expensive Remingtons recently & they got my hair much straighter.

I can recommend a pair of Babyliss ones which someone posted about on here. They were reduced from £60 to £20 in the Next sale and I got some. They are fantastic, as good as GHD's any day (and I'm an ex hairdresser). Amazon are selling them for £31 with free delivery. They are still £60 in Boots.

Do not buy the Avon remington ones they are carp !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am an Avon rep. i have had 2 unhappy customers i managed to return one pair sneakly!. I had a pair too they are rubbish they just don't get hot enough. I told a customer i would not accept an order form them just before christmas as well. PLEASE do not buy them.

Other remington ones seem to be rated well but this particular pair are bad.

I got a cracking set from boots.Mark Hill thermoceramic styling kit.Included heat protection mat and styling products worth as much as item cost.Cost was around £13 in sale.Plus you get given vouchers to tune of £8 worth of makeup/skin care products with promo boots is running.Mark hill straigheners seem to heat up quick and are made by morphy richards.Googling found similar at £75 without kit.
also picked up an 1800w ionising hairdryer for £10.Very pleased this was Macclesfield on saturday.
The cordless version of these straighteners are half price at a shocking £50!

These straightners were only £7.50 about 6 months back and my sister bought herself one and they was a complete waste of time. I really wouldnt recommend them!
