  • Are you paying their full monthly mortgage/rent payment?!

You could live in your own home and pay bills for less than/the same as that to be honest mate.

Well living in London is not cheap and the addtional exspense of moving would work against us .

Have just gone through the questionare on CCCS and it says we qualify for help with dealing with this issue so feel a little better now .

Hi, I agree, living in London is not cheap! So less than £600 in rent for both of you including bills is pretty good IMO. However, your SOA doesn't include any income for your wife, could she look into getting a job? If the £200 groceries is just for the two of you it can be reduced quite a bit. My grocery spend has gone down from £150 for just me to £120 then £100 then £80. I think I could get it lower if I didn't buy treats like wine and dessert.

  • hi i have had problems with bank of scotland they are very bad at getting back to you, I am on a dmp with cccs and it took 3 letters from me and 2 from cccs to get anything back from them in regards to a payment plan i would write again send it with proof of posting as they may say they havent received anything from you. In regards to the calls you can look at a website called "whocallsme" and if you put in the number it will show you who its from I have used it before. I hope this helps

good luck in your debt free journey

08456016304 is the number ....1 call every day since for the last 2 weeks to a mobile and i suspect just as many to the landline...read somewhere on here about a section 10 letter which asks them to send letters only ?
  • yes its bank of scotland the number was familiar to me!! you need to write to them again asap, you can also send a letter asking for them to contact you in writing only. You might find they send a card to you saying one of their agents is going to phone you at such and such a time did this to me but never phoned!! end of the day you need to make contact i would advise you to speak to cccs if you havent already, best thing i ever did. The sooner you get in touch with them again, fingers crossed they will come to some arrangement with you and they calls will stop. hope this helps
