Offer limited to 50,000 SIM cards on a first come first served basis. Pay as you go telephony terms and conditions apply. Offer available until 22 March 2005. Text value based on standard text rate of 10p.
Basically- details the offers, you can't resell them and "Sims will be delivered to the address you provide to use by first class post", offer 2 per house etc etc.
Certainly cant charge for postage or the sims according to their own terms & conditions - be a real shame if they try and i have to send them back as i wanted these 2!
Don't know how to do it but can someone print those terms and conditions thats still on the site just in case. Also could they put on here how to do it.0 -
i just recieved mine this morning, it says that i have to pay for them or something, they must be having a laugh, how do i get out of paying?
thanx0 -
Just go to the site, http://www.t-mobile-campaign.co.uk/freetexts/index.php, then click on Term & Conditions. A popup will apear with the terms and conditions.
Press 'print screen' on you keyboard, then go into paint and then press edit past, this will paste a screen shot of the terms & conditions into paint and you can then just save this as a picture file(save type as jpeg) and keep it if you want to.
Dont worry anyway - just tell the posty you dont want the thing if they try to get you to pay anything. If it's charging postage or cash on delivery the post office have to have a returns address (so they get their money) so it isn't a problem. Just send it back, i will be!!!!!stay lucky!

Not sure of the setup on this board but so far only 3 people (i think- just had a quick look) have received these sims and they’re the only ones who have been charged so far – just had a quick look and they’re all new members. No offence meant to any1 here (posters or mods/admin etc) but in my experience of the net could this not be a wind up (again apologies if it’s not but sure you’ll appreciate what I mean, the net is full of people taking the Mickey!).
Is it possible to check the 3 peoples IPs to ensure it’s not the same person with multiple usernames?
(Again apologies to anyone who might be offended by my remarks but it is a common thing on the net, on other forums admin usually just check IPs to ensure it isn’t one person with multiple accounts causing concerns to the other members)stay lucky!

yeah i agree with Tay, no offence if you who have recieved them are genuine members but you all have only a few posts plus and sumhow i cannot imagine a big company like t-mobile trying this on because everyone will send them back and they will lose a lot of money due to posting etc...
i also wanted to add that i ordered the sims really quickly when they came out which means i should have had them by now along with the other 3 people (if they are genuine.)
arghhh this is confusing lol just wait and see
edited again because i found this on other forums...

It's just a despatch note and actually does say "Despatch note" on the top left hand corner. No mention of payment due and does not look like an invoice at all. Under item Description, it states 'The price of the SIM Prepay Service Pack is £2.75 inc Vat'.
T&C's on the back, no.5 Payment terms states 'Our standard payment terms are that you must pay in full before we can send equipment and accessories to you. We may however send you the bill for the equipment and accessories when we deliver them. In this case you must pay the bill within 14 days of the bill date... '
also got the 2000 free texts leaflet and a T-Mobile/Fonebak Freepost bag to recycle any old phones. Get £5, £10 or £15 depending on what phone you recycle

Sounds like there was probably just a bit of confusion here and that you dont really have to pay anything after all.
Any1 got any in the post today- they try to charge etc?stay lucky!

Had two delivered by special delivery this morning which came with a delivery note saying the price of the sims and the cost of delivery but I would not of thought this could pass as a bill so as of yet they have not tried charging.Tay wrote:Know what you mean, know a few guys who wont be very happy with the posty trying to charge them for delivery etc. Anyway i just won't be paying, i've read the terms & conditions again and it states it's free and will be delivered by first class post- i'll just say to the posty "o no i certainly haven't ordered anything that i have to pay on the door for, it must be a wrong address or someone playing a prank or something smiliar, please return it to the 'if undelivered address', thanks" Can't make you pay!!!
Even if they did try to charge it would not be the postman collecting the money they would simply expect you to pay an invoice after getting them.Waddle you do eh?0
