Ok I'm paranoid but my nosey parker neighbour can't resist peering in. Would prefer not to obscure my beautiful view with nets and I've heard of this film. You can go diy or get someone to fit it. Has anyone tried it?

My neighbour has done this. Fitted it in minutes. Does the job well! She has light coming in but can't see me0

Why go to the bother of any expense at all, when a simple excuse me Sir/Madam will you quit looking in my windows as I could be doing my house work naked for all you know !
Failing that stops them then give them a rude gesture when you see them peering in !0 -
I bought some from B&Q for a wetroom window. You cant see anything through it but it lets light through which is good0

I bought some small pieces of a German made film to use as a diffuser on a powerful torch. It is basically what Blue Peter referred to as sticky back plastic. You can buy it on ebay and elsewhere. It cuts easily, the back peels off and you press it on the (clean) glass. The kind I bought is frosted, and supposedly it allows through 97% of the light, but all your neighbour will see is blurred shapes. This is the stuff I got:

It is available from other good shops too!Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
I have this on my landing window, originally as a temporary measure so that the neighbours wouldn't see me dashing naked to the bathroom!
However it looks good, much better than nets, and lets the light through wonderfully. Its still there 4 years later looking like new.Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0
