I've just tried uploading photos from my memory card, I put the card in to the laptop & it's not working.
It beeps & I get the safely remove hardware icon.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy it please?

Do the photos still appear in the camera's viewfinder if you put the card back in?
Have you got a lead for the camera? If so, put the card back in and see if it reads the card through the camera. You can download them from there if so.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Hi, yes they're on the camera. If I can just find the safe place I left the lead I will try that, so many safe places to look though.
Maybe I'll have to go & buy a new lead0 -
Problem's sorted. If anyone else has the same problem, go to windows photo gallery, File, Import pictures & video, if your memory card's inserted you can import from there.
I don't know why it is no longer doing it automatically, however it can still be done.0
