For a £100 you might find it difficult unless 2nd hand. Canon are very well made, although their own genuine cartridges are rediculously expensive.

I would second Canon, depending on model there are cheap compatible cartridges out their.

we use Canon MG6150 PIXMA Colour Multifunction Inkjet Photo Printer at work. Amazon is selling it for £99.99
No Auto Duplex - Just check - I was wrong it does and Robmar0se was right.
I have checked on the Cannon website and there are drivers/software for the Mac. The downside is for a set cartridge it's £58. So look out for the running costs on printers.0 -
I apologise if I contradict the previous poster, I belive it does do autoduplex see here http://support-eau.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/8000287801.html
I have set mine (albeit an earlier model) for auto duplex as standard, as well as draft/greyscale (to save on ink) - you can always change paarmeters/options at print time).0 -
Canon, you know it makes sense, MG5250 £109.99 at Argos, you may get it cheaper if you look around, if you don't need WiFi and can find one then MG5150 will be around £80, both machines come with full capcity cartridges unlike many other brands that supply starter or set up cartridges, the cartridge capacities are: BK=19ml all other carts including PhotoBK are 9ml, OEM prices are around £13 each though cheap compatibles are available as are cheap and easy refills, chips can be reset so you could even do the refilling yourself, a chip resetter will cost around £10.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

In your opinion
The forum is about a collection of answers - opinions
Have you owned a PX720WD?0 -
Of course it is about opinions/suggestions, quite right. However in comparative tests done by PCPro the Canon comes out significantly ahead in terms of performance, speed, and quality.
Of course Epsons do work, but in my opinion as a PC engineer, I wouldn't touch the Epson, although I accept there are many happy users (and some unhappy ones too).0 -

I work in the industry, the biggest complaints, moans and negative comments from our customers generaly relate to Kodak and new series Epson printers, especialy the low end ones, however, the biggest praise generaly goes to Canon machines and yes I have owned recent Epson machines, they drink ink, and are extremely tempramental when using non original cartridges, the print heads are buried in the machine, that means should they clogg which often happens when using cheap ink then you just have to keep running cleaning cycles until they clear, on the otherhand, the Canon is much more servicable and user friendly, the print head is accessable meaning an over night soak in distilled water is normally all that's needed to clear any blockage, much cheaper than running countless cleaning cycles, also the Canon cartridges are easy to refill your self although the machine will not complain bitterly if you use compatibles. Not to mention, the build quality of the Canon machines is far better than the cheap tacky plastic Epson use.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0
