    Inspired by Logie for coming back on the boards after a break ..... here I am too. Back after 12 months break and determined to do better. Falling off my DFW wagon is symptomatic of my debt denial and I know that this site makes such a difference on our DFW journies.

    So here I am on a Bank Holiday Monday with the day to myself to put all the debt busting ways that I have learned from all of you and browsing this site into action!! I know how to budget, I have kept my spreadsheets going, I know how to meal plan, I know how to do a spending diary and I know how to work out my DFD ..... so why has by debt sat there almost unchanged (apart from min payments) for another year????!!!

    So the DFW things I will do today are;

    - Get back on the DFW wagon
    - Forecast my spreadsheets for next 3 months to identify what can be thrown at debts
    - Update my snowball to see what my new DFD will be
    - Do meal plan for next 2 weeks based on stores
    - Work out what decluttering I can get done in this week (on holiday from work)
    - Start a new spending diary
    - Sign up to Sept NSD Challenge going for 10
    - Read some of the DFW Diaries on here for more inspiration!!

    Looking forward to getting to know some new DFW's. As you can see from my signature, I'm one of the long hauler DFW Nerds who has been missing in inaction, but I'm back again because I know it does work for me when I'm active on this forum and inspired by the rest of you!

    Hi, I've changed my Virgin Media package so that the phone is now just basic line rental and weekend calls, upgraded TV to 65 channels and kept broadband at 10mB, all for £10.00 per month less. We plan to use free minutes on mobiles for all calls too :) so we wont have any landline call charges either.

  • I used to post a long time ago when sophiesmum was about. I recognise a few names from then Candy, Dawn , think Pippi too ( but was another name?) and was Welsh woofer once R? Hello everyone!
    Have come back to get organised and stop procrastinating so here goes, I need to get on the flylady and declutter stuff too along with meal plans. I used to enjoying checking in and pledging my small things, so in true procrastination style will start tomorrow! :rotfl:
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

    No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
