emails

I am currently with ntl broadband at a cost of £17.99 per month and am thinking of joining sky broadband. What i need to know is if its possible to still recieve emails through my ntl email account, or if i can migrate incoming mail to a gmail account. I have subscribed to a lot of emails i.e fhm, tesco, footy sites etc, it would take an age to go through each of the sites and change my email address individually.

If you cancel your account with ntl there's no guarantee that they'll keep your e-mail account open.

I'd switch now to an address that you know you will be able to keep *forever* - the best idea in the long term is to purchase a domain name from a company such as 123-reg (which costs £2.59/year) and
forward the e-mail from that domain to your gmail/wherever.
