We can't buy your tomato soup

I forgot Sensodyne toothpaste. I have sensitive teeth and gums and this is the only toothpaste that really helps.0

Pepsi Max
Pizza Express House salad dressing
Heinz salad cream, ketchup, beans, soup
Maynards wine gums & fruit pastels0 -
I have several! I tend to see things as either false economy (eg cheaper product is too diliuted or just too rubbish!) Or I use so little of the branded product that I can get away with buying it as I only need to buy it once a year or something.
- Fairy washing up liquid
- Sensodyne pronamel toothpaste
- Corsodyl mouth wash
- Kerastase leave-in products (I know I know...but most are gifts or bought via very good offers! They are also one of my few luxaries which make my day and make me feel better)
- Skin care, (until they make a value range which does NOT have petroleum, mineral or lanolin oils in I will pay a little extra to not have spots.)
- Mr Muscle grapefruit cleaning spray
- Oral B electric toothbrushes
- Dorsets cereals
- Pepsi Max
- Schwepps diet lemonade
- Sure, Dove or Vaseline deoderant (depending on offer)
- Always or Bodyform or Tampax (the alternative I wont even begin to complain about here!)
- Extra chewing gum
- Blistex blister plasters (cheaper version isn't any cheaper!)
- Apple Ipod (OK, so didn't really pay for this, but would have done if I'd had the money! Thankyou Tesco double-up-scheme!!)
- Scuchi hair clips
- Airwick or Glade air fresheners (supermarkets own are terrible!)
- Tesco Finest apples (but only occasionally!)
Other things which are worth a mention but I can't either justify the cost for or just plain cannot afford but would if I could afford...
Sony TV and music hifi media
Shure headphones
Ugg or Emu sheepskin boots (I now go without anything similar)
Apple imac computer (I wish I wishhhh)
And yup, everything else- if there is anything else:rotfl: I have is cheapest or supermarkets own where value range is not available

coleman's english mustard
lurpack butter
Ugg boots (hate the way the copies just lean over, yuk)
Lenor fabric condition
Marmite
Everything else is supermarket brand (I used to swap over the boxes of cereals when children were young, but don't have to now, they eat whatever is there)!0 -
motor car, they are all branded aren't they? Until we get the tesco motor car that is.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

The only branded item I buy is Dove cream deodrant. With having to watch the pennies during my Maternity leave, I got used to buying the stores own brands and I'm quite used to doing it now. Unless any branded goods are on offer, then we treat ourselves sometimes.2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017
Weight loss the old style way challenge - 7/14lbs :j0 -
Tiptree Orange & Tangerine Marmalade
Curiously Cinnamon - No one else seems to do a version.
Heinz Sandwich Spread - Asda is too far away.
Another Dove cream deodorant fan here.
Always knicker liners - others are not long enough or stick properly.
Robinsons Squashes
Daddy's sauce - for OH
Marmite - OHTruth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0 -
Nescafe for me and Felix for the cats, everything else is negotiable, I buy on price. I shop at 7pm or later to get the last date reductions. I cook from scratch lots of vegetables, no ready meals or junk. I buy out of date food from a cash and carry. That's why I live as cheaply as I do. My name is not Meanqueen for nothing, I am a Super Scrimper. :rotfl:
IlonaI love skip diving.

Coffee - Gold Blend or Kenco Smooth (or the posher ones if I can get them cheap).
Gin - Tanqueray, Plymouth or at a push Tesco Finest etc (not bought very often so worth paying the bit extra to get the nice stuff
)
Oh, and Honda cars lol0
