I knew today would be a spending day as car needed fetching from garage (£233.83 for new cam cover) and DS3 started college and train pass hadn't arrived (£5.90 for train fare but luckily train pass was at college ready to use tomorrow!) ... so with that expenditure known about I got maximum benefit by doing my weekly food shop today (£51.50) and filling the car with petrol (£65.00). All so I can have some NSD's for the rest of the week!!!** Official DFW Nerd Club Member 009**

Hi all,
Been away from here for too long, I've been on a (very mini) spending spree and stayed away from the board out of trying to hide it
I don't think I've been frivolous though to be fair, I've bought a Xmas present for DD in a sale at WHSmith and a dress for her for Xmas in a sale at Mr T and took advantage of a grabbit with Bodyshop (I got £60 odd £ worth of stuff for £9.45 del!):D
I always feel guilty for spending though, even when it's just groceries.
Anywho....I have 2 NSD this month now Really need to focus on getting some more, don't know how easy it will be this month as it's DH b-day next month and I like to spread the cost of present buying.
Off to catch up with the rest of the thread now, :grouphug: to those in need and  to those doing better than me so far this month!0 -
Evening all, I have got another 2 NSD's
Hugs to everyone, haven't read the thread yet, going to read it tomorrow
Well done to those that have kept to their targets so far, don't worry those that haven't there is always tomorrow
Off to update sig

debbiedeejay wrote: »That's really terrible news BDINI - what about asking advice from police?
What about reporting it as a act of vandalism or something, am sure they would be interested to hear about her little farm in the loft - chances are she probably is aready known to them and if not they will have something on file for the time she is caught - not sure if its decent advice or not or if the police would be helpful but you never know.
Hmm well i had a very lovely (& rather hunky!) policeman come round to check the loft with me, but because they had moved the actual plants there is apparently nothing that they can do (they said having the equipment is legal, just not the actual stuff to grow), & the criminal damage is apparently a civil matter.
It's been logged on file, so at least i know i'm covered & can't be blamed for it, but i really do think there is nothing i can do but suck it up & start on getting the house to look less like a drug den  & more like somewhere that people would like to live!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
