I hope everyone has some of this lovely sunshine that we have today (it always makes me feel better I think I am solar powered)

Won't manage an NSD today :( as need to order a cover for DS2's plaster cast...was going to do it last night, but need to ring them with his specific measurements (think 'cos he's so big, that's rugby players for you! :D).

Sticking at 18 NSDs for September...so reached target :j

Need to batten the hatches down the next few months as we are needing to buy a "new" car by the end of October. Let's hope we can find a bargain!!! :o

Have a lovely day everyone...enjoy the great weather, if you have some!

    No Spend Day!

All of us are trying to have as many as we can every month...and not spend too much on the days that we have to part with money (this can be my downfall :o)!

    Good Luck!

A new thread for October will be appearing soon no doubt.

Happy Belated birthday princess_shopoholic , sorry I wasn't on here yesterday, hope you had a lovely day.

I have also noticed a couple of uses of the 'f' word on here :naughty: we never ever *fail* - we just sometimes don't quite meet our targets when life gets in the way. So no use of the 'f' word again - or BDINI will be chasing you with a soggy paintbrush :D

Kerri~Hope cat got on ok at the vet.

Thanks everyone for wishes about pub. I found myself scrubbing the sofa at 6.30am in pj's and marigolds...delightful.

Well she totally shamed me at the vet, meeowed the entire time we were there, tried to bite the vet (then bit me) when she had her temp taken, and then tried to attack a dog (from within her carrier) when I was paying (you could literally sit with our other cat on your lap - no carrier, when he was still with us :A) Oh, and then she had a 'wee' (no pun intended) accident in her carrier on the way home, so more cleaning for me.

Anyway, seems it prob is a urine infection. She had two injections (painkiller and antibiotics), has tablets and painkillers to take for the week and kindly provided me with a pee sample last night (meaning yet more cleaning of her tray afterwards) which was dropped at the vet this morning. She does actually seem more relaxed in herself, no more accidents (tray used accordingly overnight which is fab as I thought she might associate it with pain still) and she's curled up in an old banana box left from the car boot atm.

I however am still in shock after the vet bill  Can't help but find it ironic that to get a docs appt is like pulling hens teeth, yet vets can see you at the drop of a hat. I'm coming back as a cat :rotfl:

No more NSD for me so target missed this month, but tomorrow is another month (and a weekend :j)

    JAN NSD 11/16

  • Well done everyone on their NSD's this month :T I only managed to get 1 more so have a total of 7/10 NSD's for September. Not too bad since it was my first month doing the challenge.

I've no idea how October will go though as I have baby number 2 coming then! I'm guessing I'll be far too tired to spend much money though!
