Iv been advised that start rite shoes are half a size bigger than clarks ie daughter in clarks 3e in start rite they are a 2.5e. Anyone who has found this to be true.

Don't think its that straightorward - my daughter is different sizes even in clarkes depending on the style shape of the shoe - only way to know or sure is to get her properly fitted

All styles can vary in size. Best bet is to get them properly fitted, not guess and buy them elsewhere because the chances are it will depend on the style of the shoe!

Hi, its not just the length but the width in startrite is also different to clarks. In general my kids go down half a size but up a width in startrite i.e. 3e clarks to 2.5f startrite. Startrite do a good fitting guide on their website and you can print off a measure to check both length and width, or use their own system where you take photos and they work it out for you.

There's a sizing chart and guide on the Start-Rite website :)

I've used this a few times and its brilliant. You print off a chart to stand on and a tape measure. It shows you exactly what to do, and I have always been very happy with their shoes
