Hi there
We are currently in the process of saving for a deposit and have only recently found out about the "Home Saver" savings accounts many of the lenders do - with additional benefits if you take a mortgage with them.
I am just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these accounts and whether they actually do benefit you when coming to get a mortgage? We are currently saving using a Halifax WebSaver account but the interest is pretty low so are looking for somewhere better now, and have been told before that saving with the dedicated homesaver accounts can be extra beneficial if you lend with that provider as you have proven you can save etc.?
