Hi Everyone,
Hope you can help,
Im trying to find out whether the offer for an extra £25 cashback (in addition to the usual £100) for opening an account with first direct if you do so via moneysupermarket is still availablle or if it has now closed as I can't seem to find any trace of this now.
Thanks in advance
Lauren

Hiya
I checked again for my partner and it seems the ·25 cashback incentive is off now , coudldn't fid it either. But I´d still recommend going ahead with FD: you get your £100 for putting £1500 (salary or otherwise) in there in the first three months and the customer service is second to none. Plus, once you have their First Account, you can get the Regular Saver at 8% for 12 months...you won't regret it0 -
On the same point, it states that this £100 is for first time customers only. I was a customer about 6 years ago, does anyone know if they would query this?0

I think 6 years is how long the banks retain records so if you're within that period they would probably decline to pay the incentive. Before you ask, yes, I work for a bank, but no, I didn't get a bonus!0

Yes the statute of limitations for legal actions is 6 years, e.g. debt recovery but I know the trigger date for "marketing" gets reset much earlier for some."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
