how do I email an address group without showing everyone all the addresses?

Hi there, I want to email one of my address groups but don't want the email to show all of the other recipients to each person I am mailing to, is there a way to mail everyone in one go without showing all of the addresses?

Thanks very much

  • use the bcc - blind carbon copy
  • You will still have to put somebody address in the to filed so what I do is send it to myself and bcc everyone else in.

You shouldn't have to do that. On receipt the to field will contain an entry like undisclosed-recipients.

The problem with receiving a mail with the undisclosed-recipients address label is many anti spam filters, filters this out

So by putting his own address in the to field, the email will not just be addressed to undisclosed-recipients
  • ok, but what if if don't want to use addresses from the address book, but just want to type lots of different address in the address field. How can i bcc that, it won't let me?

    thats a good question.

    have no idea.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"
