Vodaphone dongle (Problem sending emails)

Hi I don't know if anyone can help here.
I take my laptop to work at the weekend. Iam using a K365 Vodaphone dongle for surfing and emails. I always receive emails but when sending them I keep getting an error 530 message and the message sits in my outbox until I get home onto my Broadband. Has anyone experienced this sort of problem. Thanks

Is it set to use a Vodafone smtp server?
If your service providers own smtp server does not allow you to send email over another network then it is possible to configure your outbound mail to use our Vodafoner Mail server. The outgoing mail server is send.vodafone.net and the port number is 25.0 -
