Wedding Favours

we ended up not doing favours, instead we donated to an austim charity (my nephew is autistic) and put a card on each of the tables saying in lieu of favours we where donating to the charity.

We bought charity pin badges, which I put into little boxes with a little piece of tissue paper in the bottom, bought cheaply from ebay, then tied a ribbon around. All of our guests thought they were a great idea! We did also have a candy buffet, so they weren't done out of some sweeties!!

we had-
scratch cards in a holder and envelope (doubled up as a name card!)
and a favour box with purple chocolate hearts in them- wrapped in purple ribbon

we also had a sweetie table

i am liking all these different ideas i might just take some of them for my wedding lol We are definately going to donate some money to charity though

For my favours, I bought 126 1.5 oz jam jars and used a pick your own to pick some strawberries. For half the jars I put strawberry jam that I made and the other half will be crab apple jelly from my tree.

i like the jam idea i make jams and pickles this time of year ready for christmas they do make lovely gifts

We got ours from here, fabulousfavours.co.uk , really unusual favours, razzle dazzle cocktail mixes!!

I love the idea of going around and handing them out, will suggest this to the other half!

I have used sweet dreamz as well they didnt have exactly what i wanted but i contacted them and they did everything they could for me

Olokia i love jams not very good at making them though always ends up over done or really sloppy lol
