that is a good idea but we are not having a buffet so unsure if that would work the table by the door might though0 -
I had a pretty decorated basket and actually went around my guests handing them out, which is a lovely way of making sure you have had a quick word with everyone and the favours were appreciated by the guests, as oppose to being something that were just laying around!0

My favors were lotto tickets and i kinda cheated because the name places were the envelopes we put the tickets in. My friend's having poppy seeds (she gets married on 11/11/11) and mini love hearts packs in red organza bags with a poem attached to the bag. We made them ourselves so it's been pretty cheap.•¨¨*:•..•

We've got some chocolate truffles in boxes, like mini gift boxes which will be silver with purple ribbon or purple with silver ribbon. They're not the cheapest but they're doubling up as table decorations as we'll be putting them in everybody's place setting at the meal, so that's my excuse for spending a bit more! I am known for being a total chocaholic so it's entirely appropriate0

my wife had the traditional sugared almonds in a little organza pouch .but i think she would have prefered the chocolate in the end lol0
